• Home characteristics you enter into our calculator (square footage, pitch, material preference, ZIP code)

• Payment information (processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers)

• IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL
• Pages visited, time on page, clicks, calculator interactions
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide cost estimates and generate PDF reports
• Send you the PDF report you requested and related follow-up emails
• Improve the calculator and site content
• Route qualified users to vetted contractor networks when you request quotes
• Process payments for Pro features
• Comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

• Contractor lead networks (Modernize, Networx, Angi) — only when you explicitly request quotes.
• Service providers — Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting).
• Legal compliance — when required by law, subpoena, or court order.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Affiliate and Advertising Disclosures

RoofCost.io participates in affiliate programs including but not limited to Amazon Associates, Modernize, Networx, Angi Leads, and other contractor referral networks. When you click certain links and complete qualifying actions, we may receive compensation. This does not affect the cost you pay or the estimates we provide. We may also display advertisements served by third-party ad networks (Ezoic, Mediavine, Google AdSense). These networks use cookies to serve relevant ads.
